Each week, children spend half a day in our beautiful woodland. Led by a qualified Forest School teacher, the sessions help them build a lifelong relationship with the natural world.
Forest School is child led and play based - the activities we do are as diverse as the children we teach. We look for worms, splash in puddles and paint leaves. And we learn in more structured ways with arts and craft, outdoor food and den building.
The sessions help foster independence, curiosity and risk taking. At the same time, they encourage children to communicate, work together and look out for each other.
