Head of school / Day Care Manager 's message
Dear Families,
As the festive season arrives, we reflect on the wonderful year we have shared at Muriel Green Nursery. It has been such a joy to watch your children grow, play, and learn with us every day. Their laughter, curiosity, willingness to learn and kindness to each other has filled us with joy and pride.
We would like to thank you all for your continued support, trust, and partnership. Together, we have created a nurturing community where every child truly belongs and is celebrated for who they are.
On behalf of the entire Muriel Green team, I wish you and your loved ones a very merry Christmas and a joyful, restful New Year. We look forward to more adventures, discoveries, and happy moments together in 2026!

Today all of our rooms enjoyed a very special journey on the Polar Express in Nursery. All the children and staff came dressed in their pyjamas, which made the day feel extra cosy and magical. The children were so proud to receive their own golden tickets and loved showing them to staff and friends. We shared the Polar Express story together, looked at photos of real trains and listened carefully to the music and songs from the film, which really brought the magic to life. In the afternoon, the children snuggled up cosily with a hot chocolate, chatting about their favourite parts of the day. It was a wonderful, festive experience that created lots of awe, wonder and shared memories.

Success Story of the day!
Today was a wonderful success with a very special surprise visit from two Elves!
The children’s faces lit up as the Elves arrived and invited everyone to join in with dancing and singing. They played lots of fun games together, including exciting parachute games and chasing bubbles, which had the children laughing and moving their bodies. The Elves also shared a lovely story time, encouraging the children to listen carefully and join in. It was a magical, festive experience that supported the children’s confidence, social skills and enjoyment of being together.
