Head of school / Day Care Manager 's message
Dear Parents and Carers,
We hope you’ve all had a wonderful week. This week, Nursery School had a very special visit from our local dentist, who came to share with the children just how important it is to look after our teeth. The children were captivated by the demonstration and had great fun practising brushing techniques and learning about healthy snacks that help keep smiles bright!
I’d also like to take this opportunity to gently remind everyone about items brought in from home. While we completely understand how valuable comforters are in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, especially during times of transition and change, other toys and belongings are becoming a little tricky to manage. These special treasures mean a lot to your child, and while we do our best, we can’t always guarantee their safety from being lost or broken during the nursery day. If possible, please save toys for home time and limit what comes into nursery to comforters only, if your child truly needs it.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for your ongoing support in helping us create a safe, happy environment for all our children to thrive.
Wishing you all a restful weekend!

Success Story of the Week!
Willow Room have been enjoying exploring different textures and sensory experiences. We played with bubbles and water in our sensory table, made gloop and used sponges to paint with. These activities support the Early Years Outcomes by encouraging children to explore and talk about what they see and feel (Communication and Language; Understanding the World), develop hand and finger strength through squeezing, pouring and dabbing (Physical Development – Moving and Handling), and express their ideas in creative ways (Expressive Arts and Design – Exploring and Using Media and Materials).
The children showed great curiosity, focus and joy in their play.
