Head of school / Day Care Manager 's message
Dear Parents and Carers,
The festive spirit has truly begun to sparkle here at Muriel Green Nursery! Our rooms are filled with the cheerful sound of children practising their Christmas songs, and it’s wonderful to see their excitement as they prepare for this special time of year.
This week was made even more magical thanks to a visit from a travelling pantomime, who brought a world of laughter and wonder to both children and staff. The joy on everyone’s faces was absolutely priceless, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated governors for organising such a fantastic experience for us.
As the season of Christmas magic unfolds, please keep an eye on your diary dates so you don’t miss any of the festive fun and events coming up. We love making memories together and look forward to celebrating with all our families.
Warm wishes,

Success Story of the Week!
We have had an exciting Success of the Week in Acorn and Conker Room, full of winter creativity and teamwork. The children loved making snowflakes with support from the adults, proudly talking about their creations. In Acorn Room, the children explored paint with their hands and made beautiful snowflake handprints, supporting their sensory development, creativity and fine motor skills in line with the EYFS. In Conker Room, the children used different media such as cotton wool, glitter and glue to design their own textured snowflakes, developing their imagination, independence and Expressive Arts and Design skills. It has been wonderful to see their confidence and joy grow.
