Head of school / Day Care Manager 's message

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to share that it has been a wonderful week of learning at Muriel Green! The children’s enthusiasm has truly shone, especially with the little sprinkle of snow we enjoyed. It was lovely to see their faces light up with excitement as they explored the wintry outdoors.

As the weather continues to be chilly, we kindly ask that you provide your child with named hats, gloves, and scarves. We value our outdoor learning, come rain or shine, and want to ensure every child is comfortable and able to enjoy our outdoor activities safely.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us ensure the children are ready for all the adventures each season brings!

Success Story of the Week!

This week in our Acorn Room, we celebrated a wonderful sensory success as the babies enjoyed playing with snow that the staff brought into the tuff spot. They were fascinated by the cold and fluffy texture, and they loved feeling the snow on their hands. This sensory experience supported their sensory development and curiosity, allowing them to explore new textures and temperatures safely. It was a delightful way to engage their senses and encourage exploration, providing a rich learning opportunity.
