Head of school / Day Care Manager 's message
What a wonderful week it has been at Muriel Green Nursery! We have truly delighted in seeing your children immerse themselves in a world of fun and discovery each day. From imaginative play in the garden to curious explorations in our indoor learning spaces, every moment has been filled with excitement, laughter, and incredible growth. Our curriculum continues to spark awe and wonder, with children enjoying sensory play, creative arts, and new stories that inspire them to ask big questions and share their thoughts. As we notice the weather beginning to change, we kindly ask that you ensure your child comes to nursery with a warm coat and suitable footwear. While we do have wellies and wetsuits available for outdoor adventures, children are happiest and most comfortable when dressed appropriately for the cooler, wetter days ahead. This helps us make sure learning and play can continue seamlessly, both inside and out. Thank you for your support in helping us keep all our children happy, healthy, and ready to learn. As always, if you have any questions or need a little extra support, please know our door is always open.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Success Story of the Week!
This week in Nursery Room, our big success was making our very own bread!
The children had such fun mixing, kneading and shaping their dough, which supported their physical development and early understanding of how things change.
Once baked, they enjoyed tasting the bread with honey – a real treat!
This lovely activity was linked to our story of the week, Rosie’s Walk, helping the children to connect their learning through story, play and real-life experiences. They were so proud of their creations and loved sharing the bread they had made themselves.
