Head of school message
It’s been another productive and exciting week here at Muriel Green Nursery! The children have been thoroughly enjoying their environmental projects — our worms have now settled happily into their new wormery, and the mushrooms we started looking after just last week are growing rapidly. Be sure to take a look at them next time you’re in the foyer!
We’ve also put together a display showcasing all the sustainable practices we’ve been engaged in over the past four weeks. The children have taken such pride in learning about how to care for their environment. A big thank you to the wonderful parents who gave up their time this week to share their gardening expertise with us — your support and involvement are always so appreciated. We will be happy to have more parent help with our garden.
We’re also looking ahead with excitement to a special visit from the Mayor of St Albans on Tuesday 22nd April. He’ll be touring the nursery to see all the amazing ways our children and staff are working together to look after the world we live in.

Wishing you all a lovely Easter weekend!

Success Story of the Week!
We're thrilled to share the success of this vibrant week at the nursery! Our outdoor explorations began with a joyful visit to the park where the children had the opportunity to observe ducks, search for flowers, and spot delightful signs of spring.
Throughout the week, children engaged in carefree play, blowing bubbles and revelling in the company of their friends through shared games and laughter. Their enthusiasm and joy were evident, promoting social skills and strengthening bonds with one another in our nurturing environment.
Today was particularly exciting as the entire Day Care participated in an Easter egg hunt at the park. The children's faces lit up with joy as they searched for hidden treasures, creating memories of adventure and joy that will last a lifetime.
These successful experiences continue to enrich our Early Years setting, inspiring wonder and joy in every child.
